Sprinkle Tee

I just love unique clothing, especially for my adorable nephew.  Since his name starts with a "Z" I decided to stitch this super cute, sprinkle looking, oversized letter "Z".  I found a plain gray tee and decided they would be a perfect match.  In the above picture he proudly sticks out his tummy while showing off this awesome new shirt! I think he approved.  (Sorry about the low quality picture... My phones camera is not the greatest.)
I loved the bright colors but this shirt could easily be created to fit personal preference of any color scheme, leter, or number.

Adorable Aprons

I must admit that I am not much of a cook.... Luckily I live with a wonderful cook or I would be in trouble.  I do however make a huge mess every time I attempt to cook.  That’s why an adorable apron is a must :)   Both of these aprons are gifts however.  The one on top is especially special because it is repurposed out of a meaningful sheet. Now it's time to make one for myself!

My Cozy Little Home

Hi all! I have unfortunately been away from my blog for a few weeks.  I have however still been crafting :)
Yesterday I discovered a wonderful little bird book http://www.amazon.com/Little-Birds-Handmade-Projects-Collective/dp/160705003X#  . I love creating things with birds and this book is full of beautiful and fun ideas.  The first thing I made was this embroidered picture and I absolutely love it.  This can be customized to include however many people are in the family.  I plan to make one for my family members very soon :).

Every Girl Needs A Great Skirt

With spring fast approaching I decided it was time to learn to make an adorable skirt. While searching for help (because I sure as heck couldn't just whip one up without some) I found a wonderful tutorial by Dana at Dana-Made-It.
This tutorial was great and helped me to make this super cute skirt! I am sure hoping my baby niece will be able to fit into it this summer.  If not I may just have to find some cute little girl to give it to :)  The tutorial also teaches how to make adult sized skirts out of the same technique and you better believe I will be whipping myself one up soon.

                                                            Have a Happy Friday!!

Olivia the Owl

I must say that these adorable stuffed owls are one of my favorite things to make.  Since they are not all that big I often use my cute scarp fabric to create them.  I decided to name the owls to make them more personal.  The girl (as seen below) is named Olivia and the boy is Oliver.  They would make a great small pillow for car rides or just a little stuffed animal to carry here and there.  I plan to create larger ones later on so that they can be used more as a pillow/bed accessory.  I hope you enjoy my little Hoots! :)

Spring Fever

I am not sure about everyone else but I am super ready for spring :) After a previous week of 60 degree+ weather I officially have spring fever! While shopping at a local thrift shop the other day I came across this beautiful flower print fabric and knew immediately something must be made with it.  That is when I decided that I needed a nice spring friendly banner so I created this one.  I made the letters out of craft felt and put them on with Velcro so that when it is summer I can change the words out.  I just love this banner and it brings a nice spring feel to my living room.
I am thinking that these banners would be cute for kids rooms with there names personalized on them or even for birthday parties! I plan to make more very soon :)

Messy Little Eaters

So every baby has a bib right? After noticing that many bibs are plain and actually pretty ugly I decided to create one.  This is actually just one of the two styles that I am making ( I will post the other at a later date ).  This one is however my favorite.  I like the larger bibs because when I watched my Nephew (that is 2) eat I decided big bibs are the way to go.  This is obviously for a girl and I really enjoy the bright colors of this fabric and have actually used it in many other small projects.  Well I hope you all like the bib and there will be many more to come :)
